PTH12050W: 12V supply voltage higher than maximum limit for short period

Part Number: PTH12050W

The 12V supply voltage to this module has instances where it will temporarily go as high as 14V for a period of 1ms.

This spike is outside the maximum voltage for this part of 13.2V.   Since it lasts for a small duration when it occurs, is this something to be concerned about ?

My thoughts are the specified maximum of 13.2V applies to the steady state supply voltage and does not apply to minor spikes.   Is there a specified maximum voltage specified for temporary fluctuations ?
