TPS7H1101A-SP: TPS7H1101A-SP Output Voltage Problem.

Part Number: TPS7H1101A-SP

When I checked the output voltage by designing it as shown in the schematic below, there is a problem that the 2.5V voltage is output, not the 3.3V voltage.

There is a board that outputs 3.3V normally, and there is a board that outputs 2.5V.

Please review why this problem occurs.

  • Hello Kim.

I have reviewed your schematic for 3.3V output, and I do not see any issues.

As configured Vout should be 3.29V.

With selected Rpcl (8250ohm), current limit will be in the min, nom, max range of 3.3, 3.85, 4.8A.

Vcs sense range with selected Rcs at full load 3A will be 4.82V, 4.9V, and 5.01V (based on 5.5V Vin)

    Soft start time 53mS

Can you describe the behavior?    If you are indicating that it is outputting 2.5V, I suspect resistors are incorrect on the divider circuit.

    Regards,

    Wade
