UCC256404: spice model

Hi Jassimran,

We do not have any Spice model for UCC256404. We have only simplis model for this family of devices. After downloading the simplis model ( https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slum684 ) , run the UCC25640x simulation test bench file which is shown below.

You do not need to download any other libraries.

I believe you are using Simplis Elements. If that's the case, Simplis Elements doesn't support encrypted models. So, Even if you copy only controller, it won't work.

Hi Sokhi,

Except for UCC25600, all other TI LLC controllers doesn't have any spice models. You can request a full version from Simplis for 30 days and  run the TI LLC controller's simplis models.

Hi Sokhi,

First of all, for UCC256404 high voltage startup, You need to have atleast  40V at HV pin. Also, at HS pin you need to have 0.1V/ns slew rate for ZVS switching. 

Taking these points into the consideration, for such a lower input and output voltages, I would recommend using flyback converter.
