Hi team,

Can BQ25713B realize the function of bidirectional charging?

I use a 5000mAh / 4.2V lithium battery,The demand is to be able to charge the lithium battery, which can charge external devices,

Are there other options available?

    Hi Zhonghui,

    It depends on what you mean by bidirectional charging.

    BQ25713B can be used as a bidirectional power supply due to its OTG (reverse buck-boost) capability. In other words, you can utilize this to supply power to other chargers/external devices.

    However, it cannot be used directly to charge a battery in OTG mode because it does not regulate current and is a voltage regulator in this mode.
