I am planning to use the BQ25505 with multiple solar cells in parallel. Should there be any reverse protection between the cells? like the diagram below?

Hi Michael,
If the cells can be user interchanged and there is a risk of reverse install, then yes. Keep in mind the average input current to the BQ25505 is 110mA (peak inductor current of 220mA) so if, for example, each cell provides 50mA, four is parallel provides 200mA, which is more average current than the BQ25505 will accept.
