LM4040-N-Q1: Negative reference generation

Hi,

I want to generate negative -2.5V using LM4040AIM3-2.5/NOPB reference IC.

I have one LTSPICE simulation model for LM4040 which gives 3V reference output. I tried connecting -15V to anode as shown below and the model is not working.

Can we generate a negative referencing by giving negative supply at anode of Zener reference IC LM4040?

Can you please provide SPICE model for LM4040 for any of the reference voltage.

Yes, this is possible, however the model does not show this. I tried the same thing with the models on the website and I saw similar results where it worked with a positive voltage rail, but not with a negative voltage rail. The way your circuit is setup is correct and should work with the LM4040 on bench.

Our PSPICE models are designed to work with PSPICE for TI, but not with LTSPICE.
