BQ77915: bq77915 charging issue

Part Number: BQ77915

hi team,

I'm using bq7791500 for 13 series

I'm trying to create an under-voltage fault and trying to recover it by charging and I successfully created an Undervoltage fault after than I disconnected my load

all my cell voltages are at 3.2v

my battery voltage is at  41.6v

across p+ to p- voltage is 29v something around

my charger voltage is 53v

room temperature is something around 32 celsius

when I plugged  my charger   to p+ to p- charging is not happening but when I disconnect the cell bank and when I reconnect it again it's charging

  • Hello Revanth,

Could you measure the voltages at the gates of the CHG and DSG FETs? Is either of the FETs is on? Can you please provide your design schematic to make sure everything is okay?

I would also recommend you to see Table 9-5 in the datasheet to see the different results and recovery conditions of the different faults.

    Best Regards,

    Luis Hernandez Salomon

  • i know about that table 9-5 its all clear  (( but when I plugged  my charger   to p+ to p- charging is not happening but when I disconnect the cell bank and when I reconnect it again it's charging  this is my main concern ))

  • Hello Revanth,

What are the voltages at the gates of the FETs? Can you share your schematic? I want to make sure none of the protections are being triggered.

    Best Regards,

    Luis Hernandez Salomon
