PTN78020W: thermal protect discussion

Dear，

PTN78020W ，under 50℃  operation temperature ,this part is thermal protection, I would like to ask which chip is the internal control IC of the module based on?   What is the thermal protection temperature?

Could you please provide us with any reference and protection in thermal design?

    Hi, 

    I'll have to check on the internal control IC, it may be a proprietary information and we would not be able to share that information in a public forum. 

    Regardless of the control IC, the whole module should be treated as one entity and the module  would follow these typical characteristic curve depending on your input based on datasheet figure 4-23. 

    In thermal shutdown, the part would shut off as describe on the datasheet page 17

    No switching should occurs.
