Hi Simon,

This is an old device and the Rth_JC is not yet available. Datasheet only gives Rth_JA. In order to get Rth_JC, we will have to submit a request, and it usually takes several weeks to get the results. Is this acceptable?

yes please submit a request and share if you have a rough completion date.

Customer is also asking for a maximum allowed power dissipation Pd_max. Do we have something like this?

I forgot to answer your question about Pd_max. Using existing Theta_JA of 97 C/W, you can calculate backward the allowed dissipation by defining your Ta and your targeted Tj. Hope this clarifies.
