Would like to ask your confirmation if the part TLC5940 can be considered drop-in replacement for TLC59116. Any changes to need be adjusted here?

    Hi Archie,

    Main difference is the 1) Digital interface. TLC5940 uses serial data interface which is similar to SPI, while TLC59116 support I2C protocol. 2) TLC59116 do not have dot correction function. 3) TLC59116 do not have EPPROM
