UC1901: Simulation model for SEE tests

Part Number: UC1901

Hello,

I am currently trying to model the behaviour of the UC1901 responding to single event effects.

For that I follow the heavy ion single event effects radiation test report made by the ESA. https://escies.org/download/webDocumentFile?id=835

They describe a test configuration and a working point that allow them to simulate an upset and observe the output reaction.

My problem is that reproducing the configuration in PSpice simulation, with the UC1x901 family pspice transient model, I don't obtain the same results, even searching for the same working point.

In the best configuration (the radiation test report doesn't give all components value) I obtain :

- A driver outpout swing of 0.2V maximum

- A transformer output of +/-250 mV

Here are the test configuration, the working point to obtain and my simulation circuit with results :

Do you have any idea for the kind of behaviour ? Does the PSPICE model can respond in this configuration ?

Thank you for your help
