My customer is using UCC28180 controller in a project and while designing, they are stuck at understanding loop compensation login mentioned in the datasheet. The nonlinear gains M1, M2 are represented in the functional block diagram of the controller (shown on page 13). But the gain M3 mentioned in Eq. (93) to (99) is not represented in the block diagram of controller. Unable to identify how the gain M3 is affecting the design of the control loop?
Also while evaluating the voltage loop transfer function in Eq. (106), any reference on how the equation is obtained or between which points the transfer function is derived?
