TPS2660: Surge test performance criterium A

Dear Sir, Madam,

in our application we want to develop a surge protection with TPS26600 and performance criterium A.

In App note SLVA833D the performance criterion B is described, criterion A has to be asked an application engineer.

Some more data about the supply voltage:

16.8V < VCC < 30.0V continous

14.4V < VCC < 33.6V for 100ms (no damage)

Transient test:

+-2KV

5/50ns puls

5KHz repetition freuquency

criterion A

Surge test:

+-2KV (Ri=42Ohm and 0.5µF) plus-line to earth and minus-liine to earth

+-1KV (Ri=42Ohm and 0.5µF) line to line

criteroin B

Could you please give an advise for performance criterion A?
