May I ask your concern about this current ? As this EN pin is a voltage input pin.

Hi Young,

Good Day. I already check it at the datasheet on what is the requirements to drive the enable pin and I found it at the section 7.3.3 Enable (ENA) and Internal Slow Start on page 11.

But the concern of the customer is the 5uA on the enable pin found on the functional block diagram, what is this 5uA? Is this the current required todrive the enable operation? Please advise. Thank you very much.

Hi Vincent,

This 5uA is a internal pullup current source ,which allows the user to float the EN pin to enable the device.If an application requires control of the EN pin, use external control logic interface to the EN the pin like the open-drain or open-collector output logic.
