You can use EV2300 for bq2060A. Same software you can download from the product webpage.
Hi Jackie,
thanks for your answer but from the EV2300 page when you click on the Software tab, you can only download the USB driver!?
I have installed the "bq Evaluation SW ver 0.9.64" I run and the SW can't see the bq2060A.
with the scope I can see very nice waveform. so I think the SMB bus is fine.
From the BQ2060A page you can only download the EV2200-60 SW that uses the EV2200.
the differences between the EV2200 and EV2300 is that the first uses a UART while the second uses a USB to communicate with the PC.
I will appriciate if someone could tell me what SW to use and give me link to download as well, I believe this will help other people as well.
Thanks,
Francesco
Hi all,
Can the EV2300 be used with the bq2060A EVM 01 ?
If yes, is there a official software for this?
Thanks,
Adeline
The EV2300 will work with the bq2060A, but not with the bq2060A TI EVSW. If using the bq2060A TI EVSW, you will need to use the EV2200. The old EVSW drivers will not work with the newer EV2300.
What does this mean?
Is there any TI supplied Software the works with the EV2300 and the BQ2060A? Or, do you mean the EV2300 will speak HDQ16, but you need to write your own program to use it?
Dear Support-Team - we have an EV2300 and an BQ2060. But this tools dosn´t comunicate together.
Which software we need. Or is it really possible to reprogramm this one with EV2200
Thank you very much.
