LMR64010: Operation with higher boost input voltage

Part Number: LMR64010
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX7209, TPS7A49, INA818, , TPS61170, TPS55340

Hi,

I'm working on a solution for a 24V to roughly 31V boost converter that only needs to supply 10mA. I don't care too much about voltage ripple as I have a linear regulator smoothing this rail to 29V (TPS7A49). This rail powers some high voltage instrumentation amplifiers and multiplexers (INA818, TMUX7209).

Would I be able to use the LMR64010 with a separate supply for the boost circuit and VIN as shown below? I didn't notice anything in the datasheet that would explicitly prohibit this, but I know there's more happening internally that's not discussed in the datasheet.

Are there other products that fit this application better?

Thanks
