  • Hello Gunakara,

The BQ76940 is a monitor and protector which does provide a companion fuel gauge, the BQ796142 is from our newer family of monitors which allows for greater customization and can be used with the EV2400 to communicate with bqStudio. The BQ79614-Q1 is an automotive-rated monitor and protector, this one is from another team so I can't say much about it. The best part for your application would depend on what features you want, your number of cells and your intended application.

    2. At present we have designed & Tested 48V BMS using BQ76940. we need to implement fuel guage section needs suggestion from you which is suitable for fuel guage development for getting accurate SOC, SOH calculations -- please suggest Fuel guage part and tools like EV2400...

You can use the BQ78350-R1 companion gauge with the BQ76940 to implement fuel gauging. The BQ769142 does not provide gauging and it is currently out-of-stock, so it may not be the best option at the moment.
