UCC5390: 100% duty cycle operation

Customer is using UCC5390ECD as an isolated drive for high side FET switch.

Can confirm whether it can drive 100% duty cycle?

    Hi Eddie, 

    Yes this is no problem as long as they they are driving an external FET and not connecting the load directly the gate drive outputs. 

    Note that customer will not be able to use bootstrap supply for high duty cycle or constant-on applications. It would need a floating isolated bias supply, such as SN6505b, UCC25800, or UCC14240-Q1
