TPS65295: PVIN voltage range

Hello Team,

The minimum PVIN voltage is 4.5V in recommended operating condition. How this value is derived?

Please let me know the least limitation of PVIN. Is it concerned with IVDDQOUT?

What is the possible phenomenon when PVIN goes under 4.5V ( ex. 4.4-4.3V )?

Hi, it was designed to cover 5Vinput, no special reason, I haven’t seen possible issue if with 4.4 even 4.3V. Just our validation are all base on 4.5V as low limit input. What’s your application?

Thank you for your reply. I understand.

There is no 5V power but 4.6V power in the system. It is better to regulate from 12V.
