UCC21750: VDE and other safety-certifications

Part Number: UCC21750

Hello,

in the thread

UCC21750: Safety-Related Certifications

the following link is given, but it doesn't work

https://www.ti.com/lit/cr/szzq123o/szzq123o.pdf

I cannot find any document containing szzq123.

In that thread it is stated that "VDE and UL certificates are now available on the UCC21750 page"

but I can only find the UL certificates. I cannot find other certificates.

The status of all safety-related certifications in the datasheet is planned. What is the actual status of those certifications?

Thanks

Best regards,

Matteo

  • Matteo,

    I recently changed the

The status of all safety-related certifications in the datasheet is planned. What is the actual status of those certifications?

The datasheet was released early on in the product lifetime, when we may not have yet received the official certification.

Actually, I recently got another question about this last month and we attached the VDE certification to all UCC217xx reinforced devices, but now, this document does not seem to be accessible at all, for any product on TI.com. Its strange.

All UCC217xx reinforced devices are certified by VDE, let me confirm why this document is not showing up and I will get back to you.

  • Matteo,

I dug a little bit and it looks like we just upload the latest revision containing our reinforced isolators on November 12 (last friday), and its currently going through being "checked/authorized" for public release. This process is standard is should be very quick. It seems for revisions, when the latest revision is in this process, the old versions are no longer publicly available.

This should not take very long to get pushed to TI.com publicly (definitely in the next couple of days).

At that time you should be able to access with the below link or through the product pages.

    https://www.ti.com/lit/szzq123

If you cannot access the document by the end of the week, let me know.

Please press the green button if this answered your question.

  • the VDE certificate is now available on the product page.
