Part Number: TPS62240

Hi All, Need some further clarification with supplier regarding reflow profile recommendation.

Basically, TI reflow profile recommendation showing a general spec (as attached).

I attached Jabil profile currently in used for MS17050 soldering process based on Leadfree spec.

Pls help to confirm with TI whether Jabil profile is workable with TI recommendations or is there any changes needed?

Hi Ching,

This device has a classification temperature of 260C and follows the J-STD-020 standard for reflow soldering.

Looking at the table you attached, the max rising slop, soak times and peak temperatures are within specification. The reflow time according to the standard should be within 60s to 150s. This is however lower in your table.
