LM43601: Can the output voltage be controlled through SS/TRK?

Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using LM43601 for their new products.

They have the following question.

Could you please give me your reply?

Q. We'd like to control the output voltage by SS/TRK input terminal voltage changing using DAC.

the variable range of output is from 12V to 24V when Vin=26V or higher.

Can the output voltage be controlled by the method?

Is there any problem?

Hi Kazuya

During normal start-up, when V_SS is lower than Vref, the regulation level is V_SS, after the V_SS ramps up to be larger than Vref, the regulation level will keep to Vref.

Let me check with the team if the control method you said can work or not.

Hi Kazuya

Yes it can be realized by control the SS/TRK voltage to get variable output voltage.

Need to notice that the applied voltage level on SS/TRK must be lower than the inner Vref ,which is 1V.

And under this condition, the PGOOD function will not work.
