I checked the following thread about the difference between PTH04070WAH and PTH04070WAD.
It is said that there is no difference between both devices, but please tell me the reason why there are two model numbers.

    Hi,

    These are very old devices that were designed by a company which TI acquired.  From the other thread, we can see that there is no difference in the devices.

    In addition, there are many newer 3A power modules that offer better performance, size, and cost.  TPSM82823 is the latest one.  As well, there is TPSM82813 and TPS82085.
