TPS65235: Difference between TPS65235 and TPS65235-1

Part Number: TPS65235

May I know the main difference between TPS65235 and TPS65235-1? By comparing the both datasheets, it seems like the only difference is the support of FCCM.

I have two questions:

If we are not using FCCM mode, then TPS65235 could simply replace TPS65235-1, right?
If the FCCM mode is used, then what needs to be considered when replacing TPS65235-1 with TPS65235?

Hi,

1. Yes.

2. We can replace them each other.

But please note: When Vout is close to Vin, TPS65235 might have tiny audible noise, but TPS65235-1 doesn't have.

For the second question,

If the Vin is 12V and Vout is 13.4V, then would TPS65235 have audible noise?

Yes, TPS65235 will have audible noise at light loading, but the sound is small.
