GPCCHEM: Gauging Parameter Calaculator question

Part Number: GPCCHEM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

Hello,

I would like to know how I can create a log file to determine the CHEM_ID of my grepow 704230 3.7V 835mAh  with my ZKE_TECH EBC-A10H battery analyzer.  The page for the GPCCHEM tool seems to indicate this should be possible.

"The log files can be created by using TI’s Battery Management Studio (bqStudio) software with the specific Evaluation board connected through USB, or by any battery tester with data logging capabilities like Arbin or Maccor."

The instruction document SLVA725A mentions some format requirements for the config and data log files but doesn't touch on max/min charge discharge voltages and SOC.  Can you please give me an exact set of instructions of how to create such a file with the tools that I have?

I have enclosed the data sheet for my battery.

  • Hello Kornelis,

There is an example of the data that can be submitted in the GPCCHEM guide, the config file lets you set which column is the time, current, voltage, and temperature.

Once you collect the data from the analyzer you have just format it in a CSV with columns specified in the config file.

If you are outside an expected range the report will come back with an error for you to correct.

    Sincerely ,

    Wyatt Keller
