TPS54218A and TPS54218 are the same parts. They have the same datasheet TPS54218.

Hi Varun,

Both of them might be the same but why it is not included on datasheet? Usually all TI parts with same device or family are listed in the packaging information.

And can you advise what are the differences between the two?

Hi Junnifer,

The original TPS54218 that was released had certain errata. These errata were fixed later on. And TPS54218A was just a custom part number released for certain customers to distinguish between the different Si revisions at that time. This was about 8-10 years back.

Right now both the devices are exactly the same and go through the same FAB flow.
