BQ25895M: Design clarification

Part Number: BQ25895M

We are assumed that, when there is no charge in the battery and when there is power at VBUS pin, output of the battery charging IC(at SYS pin) will gets powered from the power at the VBUS pin of the charging IC and also battery will get charged.

And when battery gets charged, output of charging IC will gets powered from the battery. 

Please check and confirm whether my assumption is correct or not.

    Hi,

    1. 8.2.6.1 Narrow VDC Architecture on the d/s applies when valid VBUS is present.

    2. 8.2.6.3 Supplement Mode explains when VBAT will support VSYS.

    3. 8.2.6.2 Dynamic Power Management explains when input source is over-loaded.
