Hi team,

Could you give me VDROP1 value for Vout setting = 4.0V?

Is there an equation to calculate the min Vin voltage which can keep Vout regulated?

pls see below figure, you will need around 4.7V to main the output at 4V with 6A.

Hi,

You can use Figure 10-23 (5Vout) as a reference for 4Vout.

For a 5Vout| 6A application, the "knee" is around 5.7V, which means there is a headroom of 0.7V from output voltage to be at the point of dropout.

As such, it can be assumed that 4.7V is the point when a 4Vout|6A application is in dropout condition.
