LM2840: Can LM2840 be used as an alternative for LM2841?

LM284X difference is current limit, The LM2840 is optimized for up to 100 mA, the LM2841 for up to 300 mA, LM2850 I think you means LM2840 could not go up to 300mA

1. What is the current limit value for LM2840 and LM2841?
2. Can't we use LM2840 in case of Iout = around 100mA (Just over 100mA)?

 LM2840 is 100 mA, LM2841 for up to 300 mA,

LM2840 over100 mA is not recommend.

From the datasheet it it current trim to 100MA , I need to find other team member to confirm the trim value of this current. I will give you update once I have.
