Hello,

I wanted to ask a few questions about the configuration process of TPS650860A0RSK.

1. As I understand it's OTP is programmed by TI during production. How do we order these ICs with our custom configuration?
I developed our system using the user programmable TPS65086100RSK. Do we provide the I2C data stream generated for IPG-UI while ordering a bath of TPS650860A0RSK from a TI distributor?

2. How is the TPS650860A0RSK available at the distributors stocks, when it is supposed to be factory programmed? Are the ICs in stocks blank and with all the registers not programmed?

Hi Jacek,

The TPS650860A0RSK comes with 1 bank of OTP pre-programmed as defined in the register map section of the datasheet.

Only the TPS65086100RSK devices come completely unprogrammed. TI does not provide custom programming for these devices. They would need to be programmed using the BOOSTXL-TPS650861 programming board, programmed on the end use board, or purchased pre-programmed from Arrow (which is programmed by Dediprog).
