BQ25601D: Charging low capacity batteries

This device is used to charge batteries in the range 150 mAh to 2400 mAh. There is now a requirement to charge 45 mAh batteries but the lowest charge current and pre conditioning charge current are too high for this battery. Is there a way that the BQ25610D can be configured reducing the charge current below 60 mA?

Hi Ning,

Thanks for the suggestion, yes they would be suitable. However stocks are low or no existent until 2023. Since we have a healthy stock of the BQ25610D for a current product I hoped I could use these. I'm asking too much I think. I did considered using a current dump leaving the charge current for the lower capacity battery just a few mA but this was not well received by my peers. Thanks again.
