LP5907-Q1: LP5907QMFX-2.8Q1

Part Number: LP5907-Q1

We found a new problem from our mass production automotive front-view camera. In the circuit design we selected LP5907QMFX-2.8Q1 to supply AVDD voltage of the

image sensor IC. But on the fail products the output voltage of LP5907QMFX-2.8Q1 is drop down to 2.6V. We trid to improve the Vin up to 4.5V, also cut off the load

circuit, and the LDO still cannot output the correct voltage(2.8V). The problem can't be solved until we replace it with a new IC. My question what factors can cause this

issue? And how to avoid it? Thanks a lot!

  • Hello,

Could you provide me scope shots showing Vin, En, Vout and Iout during startup and steady state on the faulty unit as well as the working unit? It is possible that the Abs Max ratings are being violated and hence damaging the device. Thanks!
