Our team is using the BQ76940 with EVM to balance and monitor cell voltages on a 15S battery pack. We would like to tune ADCGAIN1 and ADCGAIN2 to adjust for this, however the I2C registers for this are marked as read-only. From the user manual, we can see that these gains are programmed from the factory, but is there any way for the user to override this?
We would like to achieve this without making modifications to the host microcontroller setup hence why we are looking to see if there’s anything we can do modify the ADC Gain values in the EVM.
