I have a question about TLC5927I.

Which is the correct Open-Circuit Detection threshold voltage, 0.5% or 0.5?

7.6 Electrical Characteristics : 0.5% ×target

It should be 0.5 x I target, without %. We will update it in datasheet in the future. Thanks

When the set current value is halved, the open protection circuit operates.
Is this understanding correct?

Hi Ishiwata,

Yes when the LED opens, there is no current path for the channel and the output current would be quite lower than setting value. But there is no open protection circuit. Only error status can be read in in the special mode.
