Hi Avishek Pal,
Kindly do this review on priority, as we are running out of time.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Subbulakshmi,
We will need your help in sharing filled design calculator to understand your required specs and then I can verify from schematic whether values chosen are as per your requirement.

Hi Kunal
Please find the attached design calculator sheet for your reference.
Please check and provide the feedback if any.
Hi Subbulakshmi,
1. As a recommendation you can place a TVS at input and Schottky diode at output to protect device from transients exceeding abs max rating when device turns off fast due to fault.
2. SOA margin is less than 25 so calculator shows NO in SOA pass field. It is better to have more margin. Also one thing fault time is less than calculated fault time , this is wrong.

Hi Kunal,
1.We are providing the FET at the Output side of EFUSE since diode is having the more dissipation and drop as well as input side we can plan TVS protections.
2.Fault time period is not yet fixed once board arrived we can fix the fault time.
Hi Kunal,
Can you please provide the feedback on our request? it is getting late...
Hi Subbulakshmi,
You clicked on thread is resolved ,so it disappeared from my queue.
1. I meant schottky diode in between VOUT and GND, not in series. But yes additional protection is not compulsory . You can keep it in later revision based on initial testing.
2. Okay sounds good. You can adjust fault time later.
