Hi,
I have designed my board, that in prototype production phase with the power sequencer UCD9090QRGZRQ1.
I am using the evaluation board UCD90SEQ48EVM-560 which uses the UCD9090A
My purpose is to design my project and be able to burn it to the Q device before the card will arrive from production.
I managed to read write project and play with the evaluation board with the chip that comes inside.
However when I put my chip UCD9090Q
I cannot read nor write to the IC.
I do get “Found ROM with IC info of UCD30xx”
But no read nor write can be done. I get “no device found” for every operation. See attached screen captures.
- Does the evaluation board support the Q version ?
- If the answer is yes, then I guess I am missing the difference setup. Can you please guide me to set the communication to the chip ?
- I guess the I2C is OK, since I see the levels with scope and I assume the ROM identification, is an indication that it is not I2C problem. Also the J13 set to 101 decimal (J13/1-2, J13/7-8) so I guess the address is OK.
- I have tried using the USB to GPIO by Ti and again was able to operate the UCD9090A but not the UCD9090Q
