Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPSM82823EVM-080
Hi TI,
TI says TPSM82810 is with EMI tested but I don't see any results shared in the datasheet or elsewhere.
May I get the results from you if you have it? Thanks.

Hi,
The status is the same as what the previous thread mentioned: the PCB is being updated and we'll add EMI results at that time. The device has passed radiated EMI, but that PCB is not available for purchase.

Thanks Chris.
Knowing that TPSM82810 passed radiated EMI is a very good info.
One question though. You mentioned the PCB is being updated and not available for purchase yet, but I saw TI.com is proving this EVM for TPSM82810.
Does it mean this EVM wasn't used for your radiated emission test? I just want to know that there is nothing wrong with the existing EVM and that I can refer to it for placement and layout too.

Hi Chun,
That is correct. To improve the EMI, you can reduce the size/area of the Vin plane and/or add a ferrite bead in series with Vin located close to the IC. As an example, we reduced the Vin plane size on the TPSM82823EVM-080.
