BQSTUDIO: Potential bq Studio bug, Remaining and Full charge capacity Hex->Dec conversion incorrect

Part Number: BQSTUDIO
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ40Z80

Hi,

I've noticed an issue in bq Studio (1.3.101), which occurs when a pack is configured to report remaining and Full capacity in Wh (as opposed to mAh).
Whilst the Hex value received is correct, the displayed Decimal is incorrect.

Note the example below.  The Raw value is 0x2228, which should display as a decimal 8744 cWh (which is a plausible value for our pack).  However, it is incorrectly displayed as 21904 mWh.

Asides from the value displaying incorrectly, the units, mWh, should actually be in cWh in accordance with the units reported by the battery when CAPM bit is set under SBS Configuration.

Minor as this bug is, it's quite annoying to have to manually convert the hex to dec frequently during development.  An update to bq Studio to correct this would be greatly appreciated!

Note that when CAPM is cleared, bq Studio reports and displays the capacity in mAh correctly.

regards,

Daniel
