    Hi Vito,

    Alternatives depend on your goals.

    Within the same family, there is the UCC2891, UCC2892, and UCC2894.  Here is a table from the data sheet comparing this family.  Click on the picture to see an enlarged version.

    If you're looking for other/newer Active Clamp/Reset current mode controllers, TI offers: the UCC2897A with excellent design tools such as Application Notes, Reference Designs, and Webench Designer.

    Other very popular active clamp controllers include:

    Voltage Mode Active Clamp controllers:  LM5025A, LM5025B and LM5025C family

    Current Mode Active Clamp controllers:  LM5026.
