TPS2597: Operating Range for TPS2597

Hello Ti,

I am looking for a eFuse IC for my device which are operating in 24V. The recommended operating range for the IC is up to 23V but with absolute maximum range in 28V. Therefore I would like to know if it is possible to work under 24V? What kind of parameter / safety condition will be invalid? Or any recommendation for eFuse IC in 24V domain?

Hi Ryan,

TPS2597 can support only transient voltage above 23V . For DC 24V it is not the right device. Please have a look at eFuses from >40V portfolio. What are protection requirements and application?

Hello Kunal,

Thanks for your reply. Actually we used TPS26602, TPS2H160, PTPS272C45 as a high voltage switch with certain protection and current monitor. However due to the shortage of IC, we are looking for replacement. It seems we have to wait until we have the supply.
