My customer is considering LDO of TO263-3 package.
I would be grateful if you could advise.

Regarding TO263-3 package, there are two types of pin assign.
TOPVIEW, from the left
(1) GND, OUT, IN TLV1117 is this type.
(LM317, LM108x, LMS1585A, TL783 and TL750 etc.)
(2) IN, GND, OUT uA78xx is this type.
(LM340, LM2904, LM2931, LM2940, LM2937 etc.)
Which type is more popular in the market?
