ATL431: Feedback resistor value

Part Number: ATL431

Hi Team,

Example values of Feedback resistor(R1 and R2) are 10kΩ in the data sheet.

1) Is it OK to R1=33kΩ and R2=100kΩ?
2) Do R1 and R2 have upper limit and lower limit?
3) How should we decide which several hundred Ω or several ten Ω is better?

Best Regards,

  • Hi Atsushi,

    1. Yes
    2. Resistor limits are determined by acceptable error (too high resistor value) and power consumption (lower limit). This is determined by the user and application.
    3. This is determined by the user and application demands.
