Hi Team,

We would like to use TL431 calc tool.
We have several questions about how to use this tool.

1) Is it no problem to apply TL431 calc tool for ATL431?
2) Is my thought below correct because I think IDiv is Divider current?

3) We cannot input value under 100 to IDiv/IRef. What is any problem when IDiv/IRef is under 100?
4) Does this tool use IRef = 4uA(max), the data sheet spec?

Hi Atsushi,

It will work fine if you consider that some parameters are different in the ATL vs TL parts.

It won't go below 100 because you don't want too much of your current siphoned off by the vref, which will result in error due to the different than expected IR drops across the gain resistor.

Do you mean it has to reduce IRef in order to reduce Vout error?

Hi Atsushi,

Yes, you are right with your analysis. Altough there are several reasons for Vout error but here IRef part dominates.
