1. Downloaded TI PSpice program expecting to see TL598 in the PSpice library. Apparently not. Also can't find any PSpice reference in TL598 data area. Help.
2. Have been using TL598 for 20ish years to drive a constant current source, basic specs listed below. Are there any newer or more applicable PWMs?
Input: 12v full wave, no DC characteristic
Output: User programable constant current source driven by mosfets, maximum power limited by mosfet selection, but controlled from 0 amps to maximum set by particular component specs.
Load: Potentially from open circuit to dead short.
Bi-directional current flow (uses 4 mosfets) and a directional circuit
Fold back to reduce issues with short circuits at load, would prefer on-board short circuit / overcurrent protection.
