I created a Ti support request ticket, but it has been unanswered for 5 days now, so I'm asking for assistance here. The issue I'm having is with the Digital Designer GUI software, for programming UCD90160A. I think the problem lies solely in the GUI, and has no relation to the component being programmed. I'm using the Digital Designer GUI in conjunction with TI's 'USB Interface Adapter'. The GUI can connect to the part fine, and display its status. I attached a pdf that shows the complete steps I've taken, and also includes the error trace logTI_fusion_error.pdf

To create the error, these are the programming steps take:
click 'configure device'
Select File -> Import to Device
Hex File type is selected
Hex file is selected, then click next
click next again
