TPS82670: The impact of device spec feature--output capacitor discharge between TPS8267X

Dear all,

There is a question about TPS8267X. As datasheet has mentioned, TPS82670 and 82671 have different spec about output capacitor discharge.

So I want to confirm,

1. The different of this spec is whether integrated a discharge resistance?

for the TPS82670 which has the spec output capacitor discharge, it has integrated a output resistance to accelerate discharge.

But for TPS82671 which has not this spec, it can't support the function to accelerate the discharge.

2. Which kind of situation, this output capacitance is needed.

3. The difference of PCB design requirement for w/ or not this spec.
