Hello,

What is the value in the WEBENCH Power Designer if it not follows the obvious design limits.

The compensation network is 1nF and10k for all cases, is that really so simple?

Hi,

I would recommend to follow D/S to choose the value of RT and CT for your simulation. The compensation network is different for different applications.

My point is that contrary to the claim that the WEBENCH can help for designing with the UC2813 power supply controller it is useless software that generates false circuits. My questions were only rhetorical.

This is a good question. I am more confident about the datasheet, which was approved by design and applications. WEBENCH normally is from a different team, which could have errors.

Hi, Antal,

The compensation loop is located on the secondary side. The primary side circuit is to provide the correct logic. This R and C is to provide some additional noise filtering. You should ignore this for the compensation purpose. Please follow the datasheet for the compensation loop setup.
