I am using a custom circuit for the 3P1S Li-ion battery, and some boards fail to recognize that the power adapter has been removed.

However, when the R8 (10M Ohm) value was changed to 5.1M Ohm on the board that was showing malfunction, it worked normally.

Please review this change to see if there are any problems.

Can you share the full schematic of the BQ40z60 for us to review? Do you have a bqStudio log of the test showing the charger does not detect when the power is removed?

I hope you can see the uploaded file well. That problem doesn't happen all the time, so unfortunately, the log record of bqstudio could not be left. thank you.

Hello Namhoon,

The bias current from the 10MOhm may not be enough, switching to 5.1MOhm should be fine. You can also adjust the VACP hysteresis to add a larger voltage buffer to the VACP adapter detection.
