Hi 

I am using REF5025 reference IC to drive three ADC reference pin ADS8528 with the recommending capacitor given in the datasheet. 

As per datasheet of ADC Reference input current: is 1uA and drive capability of REF5025 is 10mA.

Kindly confirm if i can use single reference IC to drive reference of 3 ADC.

    Hello Manish,

    I believe you plan to connect the REF5025 output to REFIO pin of the 3 ADS8528 IC's. You can use REF5025 in this configuration. Please ensure following conditions are met.

    1. Internal reference of ADS8528 devices is disabled.

    2. Internal reference buffers of ADS8528 device are enabled.

    3. Keep distance between REF output to ADS8528 REFIO inputs similar for each ADC connection. This will ensure voltage drop (if any) across trace length is similar and gain error across ADC's is low. Also, keep trace lengths as low as possible.
