CSD88537ND: Alternative to Competitor part...

I know this is a long shot, but I am supporing a request for a replacement to HAT2195R.

Datasheet

This device has an SO-8 package, but the only "same package" I can find is CSD88537ND or CSD88539ND; except they are dual MOSFETs in a single package.

1) Could you tie gates together, sources together, and drains together to make them parallel, and "act" as a single MOSFET?

2) Is there any device with similar specs you could recommend with the SON-5x6 package? I know this isn't leaded, but pin-pitch is the same, and the overall package dimensions add up...
I think we might be able to succeed with such a package...

    Hi Darren,

    Thanks for the inquiry. The CSD88537ND and CSD88539ND are our only devices in SO8 package but as you pointed out, they are duals. I supposed you could connect the FETs in parallel but you wouldn't have the same pinout. As far as a pin compatible replacement, I would recommend CSD17577Q5A which is lower on resistance and slightly higher gate charge. We have some other devices with similar on resistance but they are higher cost.
